An official Path Through History Site! Located in the downtown 2nd Street Historic District, the Rensselaer County Historical Society offers visitors many unique opportunities for learning. Our extensive object and library collections, historic buildings, and historic neighborhood allow educators, students and adult groups to experience history firsthand. RCHS manages and administers the largest local history library, archives and research center in Rensselaer County.
