An official Path Through History Site! Restored 1818 Federal-style mansion on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum contains a research library, military artifacts, farm and craftsman tools, toys, a pioneer kitchen, and Native American artifacts. It is the staging point for the Portage Trail, which traverses the early exploration and transportation route from Lake Erie to Chautauqua Lake. Home of the Chautauqua County Historical Society.
