Mohonk Preserve

Experience great hiking, biking, birding, rock climbing, and horseback riding at Mohonk Preserve in the Shawangunk Ridge. Discover plants and animals in the preserve's 8,000 acres of forests, fields, and streams. The Visitor Center is open free of charge daily 9 am to 5 pm and the land is open daily, sunrise to sunset. Activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing on more than 40 miles of trails and rock climbing on more than 1,000 routes. Memberships and day passes are available at all trailheads.
