Heal The Bay Aquarium

Heal the Bay Aquarium inspires understanding and conservation of California coastal waters, watersheds and marine life through education, interaction and discovery. Located at beach-level, just below the Carousel at the Santa Monica Pier, the Aquarium is open to the general public daily and attracts nearly 100,000 visitors per year. The Aquarium features over 100 local animal and wildlife species on exhibit as well as hands-on activities for families and kids of all ages. Over its 16 years of operation, the Aquarium has welcomed more than one million visitors, and in-house education programs and field trips reach more than 100,000 students annually.
