Goodyear Lake

Located in the town of Milford, just minutes south of Cooperstown on Route 28, the lake is great for public fishing, hand launched boating, and walking trails around the perimeter. Celebrating over 100-years of quality, lakeside recreation and living! Access: Hand launch (DEC) -Off County Route 35, at end of Silliman Cove Road, Maryland, NY 12116 - 1.3 miles north of NY Route 7. Parking available for 10 cars. There is no public launch for Motorized boats Note that our community is active in the research and mitigation of Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) affecting our nation's waters.
