Buffalo Bill Museum & Grave

Buffalo Bill Cody remains the ultimate icon of the American West. One of his final wishes was to be buried on Lookout Mountain above Denver. Lookout Mountain Park offers an engaging museum dedicated to the life and times of Buffalo Bill and his internationally known Wild West show, short hiking trails, a picnic area featuring one of the oldest picnic shelters in the Denver Mountain Parks system, and sweeping vistas from mountain to plain. Enjoy a rustic mountain experience only 12 miles from Denver. Summer Hours: (May 20 – October 31): Open seven days a week, 9 am to 5 pm. Winter Hours: (November 1 – May 19): Open Tuesday – Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Closed: Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Museum Admission: Adults: $5.00; Seniors (65+): $4.00; Children 6 – 17: $1.00; and Children age 5 and under are free. Cody's gravesite is free to visit Coach and other group tours are welcome to visit the museum and park.
