Experience the hardships of the miners and their families as they struggles to survive in the shadow of mining collieries. Discover how the miners dug the coal by hand, the types of tools they used, and how the coal was shipped to market. Learn about the labor union movement and miners strikes. View what remains of the industries today in several National Register Historic District and along the "Broad Top Area Coal Miners Trail of History" Open May-October Saturday 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
