Colorado Railroad Museum

A top 10 Denver attraction, the Colorado Railroad Museum offers a rich and immersive experience into the state’s railroad heritage. Open year-round, Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Museum features historic locomotives and rail cars, model train layouts, engaging exhibits, and seasonal train rides. Regular train rides are offered every Saturday from mid-January through Labor Day, with an expanded schedule Thursday through Sunday from mid-May to mid-August, plus additional rides in October. Special events include Day Out With Thomas™ in September and THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride in November and December. Visitors can also enjoy Galloping Goose rides on select Tuesdays and Sundays from mid-January through early May, as well as in late August and October.
