Whiskey Rebellion Education and Visitors Center

The Whiskey Rebellion Education and Visitor Center (WREVC) is an expansion of the Bradford House Museum, a National Historic Landmark, built in 1788 by David Bradford, a leader of the Whiskey Rebellion. Owned and operated by the BHHA—a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation—the center is the result of several years of planning and community support including generous donations from the Allegheny Foundation, EQT Foundation, and the Salvitti Family Foundation. The WREVC illustrates the importance of the Whiskey Rebellion and how it helped shape American history through educational activities and displays. The visitor center showcases a collection of period exhibits, a historic timeline, an 18th century tavern bar, distilling displays, and other historic artifacts and settings.
