Kennett Underground Railroad Heritage Bus Tours

Explore an important chapter of Pennsylvania history on the Kennett Underground Railroad Heritage Bus Tour. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, this family-friendly experience departs from the Kennett Heritage Center in Kennett Square and visits documented Underground Railroad sites, historic homes, and Quaker meetinghouses. Learn about local abolitionists, anti-slavery efforts, and the vital role African American communities and faith leaders played in the quest for freedom. Tours last approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes and run on select dates from March through October. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children under 14. Parking is available in the garage across from the Kennett Heritage Center for a small fee. Private group tours are also available.
