Monthly Living History: Farmstead Fridays – Tending the Flock

Come meet their historic flock of sheep and see how farmers and textile mills processed their fleeces to make yarn and fabric. Visitors will have a chance to try their hand at spinning some of their very own yarn with a drop spindle and some other tasks as well! This free event is part of their Monthly Living History Series. From April through October 2026, Washington Crossing Historic Park hosts Soldier Saturdays & Farmstead Fridays. Presented in partnership with Americana Corner, these free monthly programs explore military and civilian life during the American Revolution.
