Monthly Living History: Farmstead Fridays – Milling with Water Power

Come out to the Thompson-Neely Grist Mill to learn how mills harnessed water-power to process one of Pennsylvania’s most important crops: wheat. Explore the historic mill race and marvel at the infrastructure that kept the colonies fed This free event is part of their Monthly Living History Series. From April through October 2026, Washington Crossing Historic Park hosts Soldier Saturdays & Farmstead Fridays. Presented in partnership with Americana Corner, these free monthly programs explore military and civilian life during the American Revolution.
