Honey Harvest & Products of the Hive

Learn all of the ins and outs of moving honey from the hive to the honey jar. This class will explore the various honeycomb setups and the common techniques and tools used for extracting, bottling, and storing honey. This how-to session will also include information on extracting and using other products of the hive such as wax, pollen, and propolis. The session will conclude with a refresher on closing out the beekeeping season and preparing hives for winter. This class will presented via the Zoom platform.
